Program Day
The day is fully managed by us so schools can focus solely on students student participation.
Appalachia Sessions Live™ is delivered as a single, structured school-day field trip hosted on a college or training campus.

Daily Run-of-Show
8:00 — 9:00
Arrival, welcome, orientation, and breakfast
Students arrive on campus and are welcomed by Appalachia Sessions Live™ staff. Students receive
orientation for the day, are grouped for movement, and are provided a healthy breakfast. Water is
available upon arrival and throughout the day.
9:00 — 11:30
Morning modules
Students rotate through the scheduled morning modules in sequence. Each module is delivered in a
dedicated space and facilitated by its assigned module coordinator.
11:30 — 12:30
Lunch
Students are provided a healthy lunch including protein, healthy carbohydrates, fruit, and water.
12:30 – 1:30
Concert module
Students participate in the live engagement module, reinforcing program themes through music and
storytelling.
1:30
Dismissal and departure
Students are dismissed in coordinated groups and loaded onto buses for return to school.
Module Sequence
Modules are delivered in a fixed order to maintain narrative continuity and student engagement. Each module
is time-boxed and led by its designated module coordinator, supported by Appalachia Sessions Live™ staff and
volunteers.
Transitions
Students move between spaces as a group according to the established schedule. Transitions are supervised
and timed to maintain momentum and minimize downtime.

◦ Timekeeping and transitions
◦ Module coordination and facilitation support
◦ On-site logistics and flow
◦ Coordination with host institution liaisons
Schools and hosts are not responsible for internal program operations during the day.
The program is provided at no cost to participating schools.
Schools are responsible only for transporting students to the event and returning them to school at dismissal.
